Largest Public Middle School Toilets.

 

Dear Brothers & Sisters, Assalamu alaikum:

 

Most of us living abroad (in western countries) have experience the luxury of having free education and its amenities, extra activities, and also good-to-decent facilities to accommodate our educational needs = and that is functional bathrooms.

 

Here in Indonesia, there are many challenges that young students carry on their shoulders as they struggle and contend to be the best in their class – like in any other social-culture challenges. However, access to school bathrooms should not be one of those daily and basic needs or challenges that students & faculty should find lacking.

 

Pagerbarang’s #1 public middle school with 880 students and over 60 faculties are challenged with the fact that only 20% of the bathrooms needed to facilitate 940 people are semi-functional. In retrospect, their school requires to have 36x bathroom toilets, and the reality is that they have 14x that are semi-functional: 7x of the bathroom toilets are fully functional, while the other 7x bathroom toilets are limited to use as a urinal bathroom toilet.

 

Alhamdulillah, Amanah Relief Center has recently installed a new water well for the Pagerbarang middle school that now facilitates a strong flow of fresh, clean water to a new 750-liter water tank that now provides water to the 14x semi-functional bathrooms. However, now, we are asking for your help with building 22x new bathroom toilets, which includes 2x new septic tanks, new roofing & drainage system, and to renovate 4x existing bathrooms. This will allow ARC to provide 26x new bathroom toilets and meet the recommended 36x fully functional toilet bathrooms for the #1 public middle school in Pagerbarang.

 

We are looking to raise USD $16,495.00 to accommodate this middle school with the necessary bathroom toilets. In the past, ARC has already built and installed eighteen (18) bathroom toilet & wudu systems that are successful and functional, Alhamdulillah.
