Assalamu alaikum Brothers & Sisters.

 

Eidul Adha 1446 AH is upon us, and now is the time to prepare for this momentous occasion, and to fulfill our responsibility as part of our religious obligation – that this is to provide Qurbani meat to those who are deserving during this blessings of Eidul Adha.

 

Islamic ritual and understanding of Eidul Adha:

 

Every year during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah, Muslims around the world slaughter

an animal – a goat, sheep, cow or camel – to reflect the Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to

sacrifice his son Ismail, for the sake of God. At least one third of the meat from the animal

must go to poor or vulnerable people.

 

This year, Amanah Relief Center is prepared to distribute Qurbani in two different areas in Indonesia, and that is to several districts in Central Java, and to several villages in Central Maluku. Throughout the year, there are many critical areas/villages that don’t have the opportunity to eat any meat, and this special occasion allows them to enjoy the blessings by your donations. We specifically want to reach out to the more remote locations such as Pagerbarang, Purworejo, Boyolali and Purbalingga in Central Java, and on the Islands of Serum and Ambon in Maluku where there are many new reverts that are accepting Islam.

 

We are looking for your Qurbani contribution to distribute and to share the meat on June 7-8, 2025. We have two options for you to choose from:

 

A.   Goat (40-50 kilos/85-100lbs                       = $ 225.00

B.    Cow (2 years old)                                         = $ 1,300.00

C.   1/7th Portion of Cow                                      = $ 190.00 (1/7th portion)
